Hello, my name is Melissa Alto and welcome to my blog, Artfully Atheist. I have been an atheist for the past five years and want to share my personal stories and ideas. I am an atheist, a cisgender woman, a feminist, and a straight ally for the LGBTQ community. In my professional life I am a classical musician who enjoys playing and teaching the violin and the viola. I have been playing for over 15 years and music has always been my first and greatest passion in my life. In the past year I became a vegetarian/pescatarian and enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. Artfully Atheist is a personal diary of my thoughts. It will include stories, recipes, crafting, thoughts on media, and anything else that I find interesting to share. I hope to provide insight from my experiences and create a forum that has no boundaries.
